As you are aware, in March 2020, COVID-19 was named as a pandemic which was causing illness and death worldwide. Kansas Ridge Trucking has been following the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control, Health Canada, and Alberta Health Services Guidelines very closely for developments and updates.
In an effort to reduce the spread, we are following all guidelines set out by these associations and have adopted and created many new procedures and policies. Keeping our employees, their families and the public safe and healthy is one of our top priorities and we will continue to mandate changes as needed to ensure this priority is met.
We encourage you to view the video imbedded at the top of this page and follow all guidelines encouraged by our government. Kansas Ridge Trucking is also committed to meeting or exceeding guidelines set out by our government and clients, and are determined to ensure all of our employees and subcontractors are fully trained and compliant with health and safety, and environmental regulations provided by our municipal, provincial and federal governments.
Kansas Ridge Trucking believes as one of it's core values that education gives us increased awareness and knowledge of legislative regulations which in turn prevents incidents and assists our organization in maintaining a positive health and safety culture.
Education and training is provided in house by our training team. A comprehensive employee orientation and training program has been developed and implemented to ensure that all employees completely understand and comply with company safe work procedures and practices.
